Terms and Conditions for Lingua Kasra

Welcome to Lingua Kasra. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Introduction

Lingua Kasra is an online language learning platform that provides live one-on-one tutoring sessions. By enrolling in our courses, you enter into a legal agreement with Lingua Kasra and agree to abide by these terms.

2. Registration and Account

• To access our services, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
• Any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful behavior may result in the immediate termination of your account.

3. Payment and Fees

• Payments for all courses and services must be made in advance via our accepted payment methods.
• Fees for classes are non-refundable, except as specified in the Refund Policy.
• Lingua Kasra reserves the right to modify pricing at any time, but such changes will not affect payments already processed.

4. Class Scheduling

• You are responsible for booking classes through the Lingua Kasra platform.
• Classes are subject to availability, and we recommend scheduling in advance.
• In the event of a scheduling conflict or necessary cancellation by Lingua Kasra, we will notify you promptly, and your session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

5. Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchasing a package. After this period, no refunds will be granted.
• No refunds will be issued for scheduled classes, even if you decide to cancel after the 24-hour refund window.

6. Class Attendance, Lateness, and No-Show Policy

Rescheduling or Cancellation:

• If you cannot attend a scheduled lesson, you must notify Lingua Kasra at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the class and payment.

Lateness:

• Tutors will wait for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you do not arrive within this period, the class will be marked as a no-show.
• After 15 minutes, the teacher will terminate the session. The full class fee will be charged, and no rescheduling will be permitted.

Missed Classes:

• Classes missed without prior notice of 24 hours will be marked as completed, and no refund or rescheduling will be allowed.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Students must maintain a respectful and professional relationship with teachers and Lingua Kasra staff at all times.
• Directly contacting teachers for lessons outside of Lingua Kasra is strictly prohibited and will result in a $100 fine.

8. Sexual Harassment and Misconduct

• Lingua Kasra enforces a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment or any form of inappropriate behavior toward teachers or staff.
• Any violation of this policy will result in an immediate $500 fine and the suspension of services. Severe cases may result in legal action.

9. Discrimination and Offensive Behavior

• Discriminatory, racist, or offensive remarks or behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
• Such conduct will result in a $200 fine, with the potential termination of your account.

10. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Lingua Kasra website, including text, logos, and multimedia, is the intellectual property of Lingua Kasra.
• You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any content without express written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Lingua Kasra is not responsible for technical disruptions that may affect your learning experience. While we will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
• Lingua Kasra is not liable for any disputes between students and teachers that occur outside the platform.

12. Recording of Classes

• Lingua Kasra may record live sessions for quality control, training, or internal review. By using our services, you consent to these recordings. These recordings will not be shared publicly without your permission.

13. Use of Recordings for Marketing

• Lingua Kasra will not use any recordings, images, or likenesses of students for marketing or promotional purposes without obtaining explicit written consent.
• However, Lingua Kasra reserves the right to use class recordings for marketing if the student’s face is blurred. No consent will be required in such cases. If a student provides written consent, their unblurred likeness may be used.

14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

• By purchasing a class package, you agree that all payments are final.
• Chargebacks or payment disputes made through your bank or payment provider without prior communication with Lingua Kasra may result in account suspension.
• If a dispute is resolved in our favor, you will be required to cover any additional processing fees incurred.

15. Compliance With Local Laws & Taxes

• You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws in your country regarding purchases made through Lingua Kasra.
• Lingua Kasra is not responsible for collecting or remitting VAT, GST, or any other local taxes unless legally required.

16. Right to Refuse Service

• Lingua Kasra reserves the right to refuse service to any student for violating platform policies, being disruptive, or engaging in behavior deemed inappropriate.

17. Amendments

• Lingua Kasra reserves the right to amend or update these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
